I hear a lot of mixed reviews of when it’s “ok” to put out Christmas decorations. I personally feel that it’s whenever it floats someones boat…whatever puts you into the holiday mood…whenever someone chooses for their home to look like Christmas. It’s the same for style differences in my opinion. I decided this year for Thanksgiving to mix a little winter and a little Thanksgiving decor all together. It’s what I like to call my Turkey Wonderland. It’s the best of both worlds. I thought I would put my mix of decor suggestion out there in case you are struggling with not wanting to go all out for Christmas yet, but getting a little itch for a change from all of the pumpkins. I love my “turkeys in the forest” table scape. They are wild turkeys, what can I say? They love living in the forest.
And, do you see my park bench there that I picked up yesterday? It makes me feel like I’m sitting on a park bench watching the turkeys go by. I can’t wait to see all of your seasonal Thanksgiving and Christmas decor. I hope you enjoy my dining room tour. Gobble, Gobble! You can find a full source list of this space at the end of this post.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a little tour of my Thanksgiving, Fall, Winter Wonderland dining room. I hope you have a wonderful day!

I love the mix of Thanksgiving and winter! I always leave up my fall decorations until the day after Thanksgiving because I host Thanksgiving Day. The day after that is the big scramble to take it all down and get up the Christmas decor because I also host Christmas Day. Your post has given me a lot of inspiration to subtly mix in some not-so-blatant Christmas decor and and get a little bit of a jumpstart! Thank You! (Btw I LOVE your Instagram stories)

Just found this and wondered how I missed it. I was “moving” into my “winter home” (park model trailer) in Florida. I simply love your outside patio and what you can accomplish there. Living in the Midwest and not having a protected area, I have not been able to create such a beautiful patio. Your Turkey Wonderland is so neat – love your creative mind and what you accomplish with the simplest of things! Can’t wait to view your Christmas ideas. Thanks for sharing.
