I took this photo today and wanted to offer it to all of you for some free fall decor! It’s a photo of a faux pumpkin, against a white background. I thought this would also give you ideas for how to make some free fall art of your own. I took the photo on my phone and then adjusted the coloring of my photo in the “Snapseed” app.
I printed the pumpkin photo on my home computer on normal printer paper and then tea stained my paper and ripped the edges of the paper to give it more of a vintage look. I would suggest printing it on card stock if you are thinking of tea staining the paper, so that it’s more sturdy. If I would do it over, I would also tea stain the paper first and then print it after the paper was dry so that the ink would not smear.
I used 2 tea bags in hot water, and then poured the water into a glass dish, after it had cooled off a bit. I then soaked the paper in the water in the glass pan for about 15 minutes. When I took the paper out of the tea, I crumpled it up a bit and then dried it with a hair dryer. It dried, surprisingly, very quickly. I added it to my old floral frock and I love the way it turned out!
